So for today’s Randome Friday I’d thought I’d share some of my thoughts on friendship. I will also use a bible verse from proverbs because well, it’s my favourite book and it’s filled with knowledge for our daily lives.

Do you ever stay with people and find that after a while you start acting like them?  For example, when I hang with my Nigerian friends my accent becomes more Nigerian and I start to use more Pidgin (Nigerian slang) words when talking. You may not realize it but the people you associate with have the power to shape who you are, this is why making friends is such an important and life changing decision.

Good friends are hard to find which is why when making friends you need to be very careful. I don’t know about you but I’d rather have one good friend that will impact my life in a positive way than a whole bunch of friends that will ruin my life.
Now ask yourself, how are my friends impacting my life?

The Bible couldn't have said it any better!

“Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble".

(Proverbs 13: 20)

Totalmente de acuerdo!!
Yo soy de pocos amigos, pero muy buenos y es cierto, aveces se te pegan muchas cosas de ellos, buenas o malas. Yo siempre pienso que ir con gente mala, al final te hace mas mala y viceversa.
Buen post guapa. Besos mil.

What an inspiring post! The friends we associate ourselves with have a huge impact on our lives either bad or good. So that's why I choose them wisely. Keep on doing these Random Fridays dear, I LOoooove them ;)

I totally agree, friends do have a great impact on our lives. It's so funny though, because I have a few friends from different African countries and I do pick their accent as well sometimes when I hang out with them!!
I do find it better to have just a few friends than having a bunch of them that you don't even know their true intentions toward you.
Great post :)

I learned this the hard way, but the friend detox is so important. What they are incessantly drumming on about suddenly becomes the one thing your mind is preoccupied with. So making sure you have healthy relationships as well as conversations is paramount

Thanks for sharing

Really love this.
It took me a while to learn quality over quantity in terms of friends..
So now I always tell myself 'Be the friend you wish you had' and hopefully that could rub off onto someone!
