Nigeria is hot! Especially during this hamattan season, and people think Bangkok is hot well, they have no idea. Anyways I wore this outfit for an outing this week, Since I have been going out quite often, I have not had the time to be bored yet.

I also went to the NYSC office since I am planning on enrolling for it next year. I'll just have to find something to do for the time being since its a long wait. At the moment I am having mixed feelings about the whole thing and I'm still unsure but lets see how things pan out.

So today's outfit features my orange midi-skirt which was previously styled here and here. This time I decided to go for a bit of colour-blocking by pairing orange and yellow together. These complimentary colour pairing reminds me of fire and the sun. I Opted for my leopard print clutch for a pop of print and went for my nude sandals to tie the look together.

I found Tuke's post on NYSC very interesting and enlightening. Any stories or experiences to share from NYSC for all my corpers out there?

Hey guys I'm back! I know its been just a few days since my last post but it feels like forever. I am  now in Nigeria, Abuja to be precise. I have a lot to say but for now all I will say is that Nigeria is different. I'm not exactly feeling it at the moment and to be honest I already miss Thailand but with time I'll adjust. Well, I have to, this is my country.

I have a couple of posts in my archive so I will put them up until I get the chance to take new outfit pictures. I wore this outfit to church last Sunday. I went for a simple and conservative look with my basic black pencil skirt and striped top. Sadly I had to cover my hair which changed the whole concept of the outfit but I was able to go with a red head tie to match the shoes.

Please bear with me during this time as I make adjustments, blog-posts will be less frequent but I will be back as soon as I figure things out.

Hey guys, this is just a quick post, I am just finishing up on packing but I wanted to put up a post first. So in this past month I have been shopping and thrifting like crazy. Since there are a lot of stuff, I thought I'd simply share my favorite items.

See you on the other side.

Hey guys, so I'm back with another bloggers collab with the theme fall colours. Though how ironic is this collab seeing as its always summer in Thailand.

For my outfit pairing I tried to work with the Pantone fall colours for 2014. So I opted  my sangria coloured pants which seems more vibrant in the pictures and went with a mix of aluminum and black in my printed blouse. I love how the print works with this shade of pink.

In my last moments in Thailand I'm trying to figure out what I'd miss most. I'll miss finding amazing items on the streets and the crazy sales at the end of the year. I'll miss being able to walk out of my street and get beef noodles but most of all I'll miss all the Thai dishes I have grown to love. Strangely enough, I'll miss the friendly Thais who love to stare and smile at people. I'll miss my friends, going back I am leaving all my friends, I hope to makes new ones that are as awesome as they are.

It's likes starting over again but it can and will be done, thank God for favour.
Still can't believe I will be leaving my second home but I am looking forward to Nigeria

Wow, after over 6 years in Thailand I am finally heading back home for good. I am super excited to be back even-though I don't know what to expect. All will be well though, I am trusting God for his will in this transition.

Today was my last Sunday and since I'm packing I went as simple as possible. This blazer has been featured on the blog quite a few times but today I went for a smart casual look with my white shirt and added my red shoes for a pop of colour. I finished this look with my bag from Zalora Thailand, I am really impressed with the bags on the site, I'm thinking of buying a few more before I leave.

Hope you guys has a great week, my friends threw me a surprise farewell party last night and they got me good. I was not expecting it at all, we had home cooked food, swimming and my very own cake, how awesome are they. I am really going to miss them.

I rarely put alternative links to items I wear but I was wondering if you guys find it helpful?

I have previously styled this kimono in a look-book here and in a dressy look here. However for today I went for a more casual take on this item. I opted for my blue maxi skirt since I wanted to match the volume of the kimono as a top with the volume of the skirt. I then cinched in my waist with this belt which I wore backwards. Finally I opted for my collar necklace for a statement.

I rarely wear my braids down but this time I did and could not help playing with them. For those wondering I do my own  braids since its quite expensive over here. While it may be time consuming, I am quite free at the moment so I'd rather not spend the money. It took me about 10 hours to complete this hair and I used about three packs of expression braiding hair.

Happy 1 year anniversary to my blog!
I just want to thank God for seeing me through this journey. I am so humbled by all your comments and love. A few years ago if anyone had told me told I would ever have a fashion blog, I would have laughed in their face but look at me now. I remember one day hoping over to a fashion blog and thinking to myself, I can do this too. I’ll never forget the feeling of excitement when I would get a comment or follower.

Wow, thank you guys so much for always reading my posts, I’ll do better at constantly replying to comments. I also want to thank all my various photographers and most especially my brother for making time on Saturday mornings to take all my pictures.

I'm hoping you all stick around because this is just the beginning.
