What makes a good blogger? The question I ask myself all the time. Is it consistency, quality of posts or pictures? Is it the number of followers one has or the interaction on social media? Well I honestly don't know as I'm still trying to figure it out. While blogging is my hobby there is a sense of accomplishment that comes with it that can’t be explained. This makes me want to be as good as I can be in it. I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I decided to start this journey seeing as it takes a lot of time and effort but I'm loving it and have no intention of stopping anytime soon.

I was having one of those days where I didn't feel like dressing up but I still wanted to look put-together. So I reached for my boyfriend jeans which is quite popular on the blog since I've styled it here, here and here. I paired it with my basic white shirt and added my black Zara chunky heels for comfort and character. This outfit consists of some of the wardrobe basics I mentioned in my post on the basic wardrobe essentials.

Being real makes you a good blogger.... the level of interaction with your readers is a good way to reward yourself too as a blogger.
You look fabulous I love the heels.

Love how you styled your Boyfriend jeans. Personally I don't really know what makes one a good blogger. Though in my little experience I would say honesty and originality are key. Showing up on the blog consistently with good content is also an added advantage.

understanding what makes a good blogger is really a difficult one but all these things you mentioned contribute to being a better blogger definitely.x

all the things you have mentioned in this post make a good blogger. I also believe that communication is key and when you feel.in your heart that you are doing a great Jon, a form of self relief and actualization.

Love your look! So casual and chic! Honestly though, I have no idea what makes a good blogger or if I am one...I guess you have to define what is 'good' and start from there.

Your style is effortless. and I believe being yourself makes you unique as a blogger and consistency as well as quality pictures makes your blog more appealing to readers. I lack in the consistency area as I have other priorities but I blog when i can and when I feel like because blogging is simply a hobby to me. Keep up with the good work.x

Sarah Enuwa Audu said...

@Sharron while I do agree with you, how consistent is consistent and how good is good?
@Annie thanks so much
@Damie, communication is definitely key.
@Toluwalade lol thank you
@Wenluditoh, tell me about it, I practically live in these jeans.
@Bash, Agreed
@Tsepo thank you. The order of our priorities do determine how consistent we are in blogging

Honestly Sarah you're one of the few bloggers than inspire me to be more dedicated to my own blog. Every time u put up a new post I get motivated.i love your consistency and with time I hope to be able to be this consistent. Maybe if I still had my camera it would have been different.
BTW I took your advice and put up a few posts for future use. Keep the flag flying.
Oh!i fixed my browser

@En_kay Lol girl I noticed, it's nice to see you on the blog again. Thank you for the feedback, I guess it helps that I have a lot of free time. What happened to your camera though? Glad the advice helped, looking forward to seeing those posts.

I personally think consistence and good quality posts makes a good blogger. Loving that boyfriend jeans on you!

I guess as long as you stay yourself and invest yourself up to a certain extent in your blog and your readers you're a good blogger. The thing is, even if everybody can be a good blogger, not everybody is recognized as a good blogger, so is recognition part of being a good blogger too? Anyways, that is a good and pretty tricky question.
Love your outfit, as always you look comfy and chic!

@Onyxsta, Agreed! I look forward to reading you post on this.
@Raliat, consistency and quality is definitely key
@Diane, you do have a point. I don't think popularity is a determinant of a good blogger
@KindlyChic, I try to have fun when taking pictures, so thank you
@Zarrah @Mionna thank you but these sandals are old, although I do have a link to a similar pair.

Love the jeans, I need to get me one. Love the whole tucked in partly concept.
Being a good blogger? I don't think there's a definition of a good blogger. A lot of things qualify a good blogger. You literally just gave me a post idea.

Sarah Enuwa Audu said...

@Sogie thank you, I agree that it's hard to define what a good blogger is. I will definitely be checking the post out.
