People: You've worn that before
Me: Well yeah because it's my clothes, I bought it with money and God gave me hands to wash so yeah I'll keep wearing it over and over again.

The above statement is one of the expectations that we fashion bloggers deal with. I admit that the pressure got to me in my earlier blog days but now I'm all about recycling and restyling pieces as you may have noticed. Truthfully, as much as I love shopping, I'd like to see my savings account and smile.

Today's outfit which is quite basic features my sheer black knit top previously styled here and one of my favourite grey pencil skirts styled herehere, here and here. I'm honestly not a big fan of body-con skirts or fitted pieces but I've always loved the fit if this thrifted pair, especially how it cinches it my waist.

Seeing as the outfit is quite simple, I added my black buckle statement belt and DIY choker to spice the look up. I also rocked a Lyts tote bag which has a logo that I love. So yes I blog, it may be more stress then its worth at times. It may not always pay and progress may seem slow but I love what I do so yes, I blog!

I'm all for recycling outfits too and I feel you on the comments from people, but what can you do really, you wear what you have. Anyways, clean decent look. I really need that bag.
I blog because it's passion, love creating content and it's also a media for self expression and so many other reasons why but let me stop here.

Someone once called my attaention to a pair of jeans I had posted two pictures of on Instagram. He was like "You've worn this pair of jeans twice now. You should get a new one or not post it again".

I had never been more shocked. That was three years ago. Lol. I still wear said jeans.

I blog because i love to express my views on issues and also becos i am a fun of everything arts.
About recycling outfits, i am all about it. I mean what is th essence of buying stuff if not to wear them? People will think and say what they want but as long as i own it I will wear it as much as i want

Your new blog theme is nice!

Mahnn... I honestly do not understand why we love to make things difficult for ourselves. What is wrong if you wear an outfit again and again? This mentally is a serious problem.

These clothes are mine and I can wear, post them on social media as much as I want! Haha. Love how you styled your outfits in this post.

Thanks girl though I wonder what you'd say about the new one as I just changed it again. And I agree, if you love it and are confident, then rock it. Thank you.

Exactly hun we wear what we have and live our lives not caring what society thinks. I feel you, I could go on and on about why I blog too but my favourite has to be that sense of community. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Lol don't mind them or should I say him. The baffling thing is how they even remember, I follow so many bloggers and I can't even imagine keeping up with all their wardrobe's. And Thanks Tee for always stopping by and leaving a comment, I truly appreciate it.

Rightly said girl, whats the point of buying stuff that won't give you your money's worth. Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you, though I've changed the theme again and will probably keep doing this until I get the right one. You can say that again, certain mentalities are puzzling. Lol we have a right to over-wear what we spend money on.
