Made in Nigeria: The Battle of Separates vs Coordinates

I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported my Made in Nigeria brands campaign thus far. My apologies for the break in transmission. If things had gone as planned, the series should have almost come to an end but I've still got a few more Made in Nigeria brands and outfits to showcase so please stay tuned.

I've always preferred coordinates over separate pieces due to its versatility. I even recall in 2016, coordinates or coord sets were all the rage! And it makes total sense because you get two different pieces for the price of one. This set is by Nigerian designer Rayhaswish, who is based in Abuja, yes guys, it gives me great joy to present another Abuja-based brand. Rayhaswish offers bespoke tailoring, ready to wear pieces (like this set) and style consultancy too.

What I love about this set is the unique touches like the added pocket and the incorporation of the printed fabric of the trousers onto the sleeves. I see myself most especially restyling the jacket which is in a lovely Khaki, army green shade! My only issue is the length and the tight fit in my crotch area but the blame is on my part as the measurements I sent were flawed.

You can get this Rayhaswish piece customized in a range of fabrics I believe and it only costs 8,000  Naira, which is a good deal because you get both a jacket and trousers.

Thank you Rayhaswish for partnering with me on this.
I took these shots during my staycation at the Envoy Hotel Abuja a few Saturdays ago, stay tuned for a full review and post on this.

I'll end this post by sharing some of my thoughts on consistency. I often struggle with being consistent, be it in my workouts or even skin care routine it can be a struggle. But it occurred to me today that a lot of the successful people that we look up to, are not always the smartest, best looking or even hardest workers but they are consistent in whatever they do. And I believe that's the only way to progress and grow in this life.
As is often said consistency is key and truer words have never been said. Because it's not always how hard you work or how smart you are but how consistent you are in all you do. #Notetoself.
