Wawooh: Online Market for Made in Nigeria Brands?

Today's post is all about Wawooh, an online one-stop-shop for all things made in Nigeria fashion. As someone whose wardrobe consists of mostly Made in Nigeria pieces, I was excited to learn of this company. Wawooh retails ready-to-wear clothing and also customized pieces for women, men, and children. In the past, one of my biggest challenges with shopping made in Nigeria was having to pay for different shipping costs on each item across designers. Which is why I love the idea of several designers in one place. A quick look through the site, I saw brands I had already known such as Oyin (previously styled shoes from them here), Bash House of DenimGlam Style Clothing and discovered new ones such as Ella Seams

Made in Nigeria brands are definitely taking the fashion world by storm and it's amazing to see us moving away from poorly made clothes to well-established brands and designers. While there is still a lot of room for improvement, our Nigerian brands have come a long way.

In this post,  I'm wearing a top from Wawooh which I styled three ways in this video below. It wasn't my initial selection but I love the pattern and how versatile it is. It's perfect for food babies t00 if left untucked.

I also styled a black jacket from the designer Oboy Lagos on Wawooh. I especially loved the tassel detail on the jacket however before even wearing it, all the tassels on one side feel out. I Also expected a thicker material. In styling, I simply went with all black and played with yellow accessories to go with the tassel detailing.

As a by the way, I noticed that there aren't a lot of bigger sizes just yet but I came across Nma Clothing, one of the designers on the website that stocks fabulous pieces for my plus size ladies.

Going forward I'd love to see some more of my favorite Nigeria brands such as Virtue Clothiers and Beaufeet on this platform. Ever heard or shopped from Wawooh? What did you think?

This post was sponsored by Wawooh but all thoughts and opinions are mine

Till next time guys!
