LBD
As a fashion blogger people expect me to always wear new clothes in my
blog-posts. I don't grow money on trees and hey you don't even do that. I
believe, being fashionable is not about having a bunch of clothes, its
about being able to come up with new ways to wear and style your
clothes. I mean whats the point of buying something your only going to
wear once. Would I like to shop all the time, hell yeah but that's not
practical at all.
On to today's post, every girl needs a little black dress (LBD) and today I styled mine as a top. I initially bought this dress in a size 8 but after losing some weight and going down to a size 6 this dress now fits loose. This look is perfect because I get the chance to rock my LBD for a dressy look. I paired this with a black pencil skirt which every girl should have by the way.
I love this neon blazer, it has been styled HERE and HERE and you can expect to see it styled differently in other looks. Then I added a gold belt, which not only spices up this look but also keeps my skirt from falling lol. I was initially going to go with black pumps but thought the red suited this look more; I love the colour blocking with the neon blazer and red heels.
On a side note, I think maybe I smile too much.

Very pretty outfit! Love the bright colors paired with your LBD. Personally, I like seeing pieces remixed and think it is unrealistic to wear something new Every Day. I think it kind of puts a distance between yourself and the people you are trying to inspire.

ReplyDeleteLove the outfit! So classy and chic :) & heyyy I feel you! As a college student myself I can't afford to buy all these clothes and when I do invest in a piece I want to make sure I can wear it over and over again. LOL! But ehh, if my wallet could only keep up with me, it'd be nice.
ReplyDeleteThis is flawless! Perfect balance between classic and trendy. And your hair is PERFECT.
ReplyDeleteAnd I completely agree! We're only getting started with our blog, but we're already resisting the urge to buy new items. It's more valuable, for ourselves and our readers, to use items we already own!
