Looking back at top trends of 2017, I'd say we had a good year guys. We saw a comeback of a lot of 90's trends and trends which were carried from 2016. So here's a compilation of some of my top trends of 2017.

This was personally not one of my favourite trends as with this trend there was a thin line between raunchy and trendy. I however loved the way it spices up shoes and entire looks.

Again this trend was a tad too risky for me but I quite like how a lot of fashionista's paired corsets over basic shirts.

 3. Embroidered Trend
This has to be one of my all time favourites. I love how it upgrades basic pieces especially the use of the floral applique embroidery.

4. The Beret
Say hello to Parisian vibes thanks to this trend.

5. Exxagerated Sleeves
This was a 2016 trend which stayed on and I'm quite glad it did because it's one of my all time favourites, right from flared sleeves, bell sleeves, puff sleeves and of course angel sleeves.

6.The Classy Fannypack
I'm honestly not sure what to call this guys but I'm still on the fence about this trend, what do you guys think?

 7. Deconstructured/Asymmetrical Shirts

8. Mules
It's funny how people change guys, I used to hate this trend remember my post here. However mules have stayed on for a few years now and I finally embraced them with this pair by Oyin Lagos

What were some of your top 2017 Trends? See you guys in 2018!

Talk to me?

  1. 2017 was definitely a year of trends. Saw a lot of people pull off these trends as well as people who just shouldn't have attempted to. All in all I love the deconstructed shirt trend most because of how creatively messy it was.

  2. @Collins you can say that again. 2017 was that year of trends. Lol well that's understandable, all trends are not meant for everyone. Love the creativity of deconstructured shirts too. Thanks for stopping by, hope you're good. It's been a while.

  3. I loved the net trend but then I got over it...

  4. @Grace lol grace but you rocked them so well though
    @Desmond thank you

  5. That Funke's picture is just so 😍. I never actually rocked any of these trends in 2017. But a fishnet, beret and exaggerated sleeves are on my to-do list for 2018.

  6. @Favour, I'm not sure who Funke is, so I can't say which picture you are talking about. I loved beret and exaggerated sleeves too, I hope you get around to rocking them. Thanks for stopping by.

  7. Style pantry is Funke's Huntoon... Or something like that. I like the picture.
