Hey Beautiful people! Is it too early to say happy holidays?
I think not, seeing as we are in December already I guess we can official say we have entered the festive period. Now I know a lot of you would be looking for what to wear or outfit ideas for your various holiday parties hence I and Larisa of Larisa Le Fleur  thought to collaborate to help you out!.

To be quite honest with, I've never been invited for or even attended a holiday party before. Does the Christmas Carol night count though?  Although, I'm actually looking forward to Christmas and the New Year, 2017, the  few years I spent away from my family during the holidays in Thailand has damped my Christmas spirit. Hence, I honestly have no major plans and neither am I in the holiday spirit.

However what does one wear to a holiday party?
Now while I went for a more corporate look with a sequin jumper and wide leg trousers styled here, Larisa opted for a versatile eyelet dress which could work for date night with bae (for those of us who have one). Here's a quick guide from yours truly.

1. Holiday Colours
That's you're best bet, go for holiday colors. Think Christmas, think colours like  red, green, gold and white.
2. Sparkle/bling it Up
Stick with anything sparkly. Yes guys I'm talking sequins and all. Just like I did with my gold pumps and sequin burgundy jumper which is over 13 years old. It was passed down from my mom to my younger sister.

3. Black and White
When in doubt go monochrome but be sure to infuse pops of Christmas colors just like Larisa opted for red lips paired to go with her classic white dress. Her dress was indeed stunning and you would not be believe where she purchased it!

4. Think velvet and Embroidery!
Anything made with velvet material or infused with a little embroidery screams the holidays for me, don't you think?

I'm super excited to finally have done this collaboration with her in 2017, we've been talking since and finally!
Head over to Larisa's blog for her style guide on what to wear to a holiday party.
